We know (mostly because you’ve told us) that The Drain Guys’ are some of the friendliest drain cleaning technicians in New Jersey. We appreciate the compliment and are ready and willing to serve at a moment’s notice; however, let’s try not to see each other this Thanksgiving. By following a few simple guidelines, you can reduce the chances of having to Google “Kitchen Sink Won’t Drain” this Thanksgiving by a whopping 80%.
1. Try not to put fats, oils, and grease into you kitchen sink drain. It’s just a bad idea.
2. Always have a food strainer covering your kitchen drain to catch any food items.
3. If your kitchen sink does become clogged, do not use a plunger to try to unclog. This technique may cause more harm than good at this point, pushing the clog further down the drain and blocking other drainage pipes as well.
4. Call The Drain Guys! Seriously … we were just joking about not seeing each other. We are open and fully staffed during the Thanksgiving holiday.
